Stator/generators are a common malfunction on the little Chinese engines. The 6 and 8 pole will work on any 139qmb (and many others like 2strokes) as long as you have a matching 6 or 8 pole flywheel rotor, and have 5 wires. If you don't have to replace your rotor, then be sure and get the number of poles that matches your rotor. The plugs on these has two singles and a 3 slot connector, however only 3 are used.
